Conditional - なら - Contextual - If Context, Then Result
This conditional will is used to refer to a context. If the context is something what is happening, the result will happen as well in that context.
Both a verb (~U) and a noun can be placed in front of なら. Note that there isn't a だ added in any case.
You can also use ならば in more formal sentences.
